- Performed inspection of lighting systems, passenger compartment, tires, wheels, steering, suspension, and body structure. Checked warning/ indicator light operation. Also performed a brake system Inspection. Racked and raised the vehicle. Removed wheels and inspected brake pads/ shoes, brake rotors/ drums, brake hydraulic system, brake vacuum system, brake electrical system and brake mechanical system. Specifications and measurements, are as follows: Front Pads Minimum Specifications (2mm): Actual Left (5mm), Right (5mm) Front Rotors Minimum Specifications (24mm): Actual Left (25.9), Right (25.97) Rear Pads Minimum Specifications (2 mm): Actual Left (2mm), Right (3mm) Rear Rotors Minimum Specifications (8mm): Actual Left (8.5mm), Right (7.9mm) Stopping Distance From An Initial Speed Of 20 MPH: 9 Ft Lug Nut Torque: 80 Ft-Lb Performed an on-board diagnostic system check (2000 & newer vehicles) and vehicle safety recall check using the BAR-Safety Inspection System. Results: Vehicle did not Pass Inspection due to the following; 1. Rear Rotors are below Specifications 2. Right Rear Brake Pads are at Minimum 3. Left Reverse Light is Inoperative 4. Left Fog Light is Inoperative 5. Airbag Light is On 6. Wiper Blades are not Cleaning
- Replaced rear Rotors and Pads
- Replaced both front Fog Lamp Bulbs
- Retrieved multiple Fault Codes from past concerns, reset Airbag Control Module, all ok.
- Inspected the Left Reverse Light and found the light was not connected, connected light, all ok
